MerriTurn is a barter exchange

Turn goods, services, skills, inventory and unused business capacity into Barter Trade Dollars (TD) you can spend throughout the MerriTurn network. Member-to-member trading is TD-only; cash is reserved for MerriTurn fees and other specifically authorized charges.
Creating an account is separate from activating it for trading. Posting a listing may support a reviewed TD trade limit, but signup or posting never automatically grants TD.

How it works
MerriTurn makes multilateral barter possible: the person who accepts your offer does not have to be the person you buy from.
01 — Put What You Have to Work
Contribute goods, professional services, labor, inventory, rental capacity, equipment, unused appointments, and business capacity.
02 — Barter Beyond the Swap
Earn TD from one member and spend it with another. This is multilateral barter, so a direct one-to-one swap is not required.
03 — Spend with Someone New
Earned TD can help conserve cash, create customers, and bring businesses sales by putting unused value to work across the network.
Trade Dollars and cash have separate roles.
Barter Trade Dollars (TD) are used for member-to-member trades. One TD represents $1 of stated barter value.
Cash is separate from those trades and is used for MerriTurn fees and authorized charges.

Fees for active trading
Registration is distinct from trading activation. Creating an account does not activate trading.

- Charged when an account is activated for trading.
- $10 cash per month
- Paid by active trading members each month.
Transaction fee schedule

Each transaction fee applies to both parties—the buyer and the seller. Cash is only for MerriTurn fees and other specifically authorized charges; the fee must settle before the final TD transfer.
